The Story
Right as
everything
was starting.
Malkolm designs clothes by hand, makes music, and works on cars. He was about to place his handmade clothing in stores in NYC and LA. An album he'd been working on since June was almost ready to drop. Everything was coming together.
On New Year's Eve, he went to the ER in the worst pain of his life. After days of testing and weeks of waiting, he had major surgery. Parts of his large intestine, small intestine, and appendix were removed. After surgery, the diagnosis came: colon cancer.
Now he's in frequent appointments, often multiple times a week, as doctors monitor whether the cancer has spread to his liver or lungs. They're also evaluating whether he has Lynch syndrome, a hereditary condition that increases cancer risk.
He's sober, fully committed to healing, and doing everything in his power to fight this.
